DIY Bow Heels

The craft box has been out once again. This time, to create these beautiful bow heels that even Carrie Bradshaw would be proud of.

All you need is the following pieces, and about half an hour, and you'll be clicking your fancy feet in no time:

A thick needle
Large bows

These large bows are easy to find thanks to them being the in-thing for little girls' hair at the moment. I picked these two up from from Primark for just £1 each not too long ago.

You'll need a thick needle to be able to pierce through the backs of the heels. Start off by knotting the thread then pierce the back of the shoe from inside to out. Then thread through the back of the bow and pierce back through the shoe (out to in) and pull the thread to tighten.

Repeat this several times - minding your fingers as you go - until the bow is nice and secure. Do the same for the other shoe and that's it! A super fancy pair of heels that will get you plenty of compliments on a night out.

These are perfect for the festive season or if you fancy jazzing up a pair of heels that you already own. Let me know if you give this a go, or if you have any questions just give me a shout. xo.
